Arizona Roots Music Fest Coming to Rawhide

A brand new festival is being brought to Rawhide next year with a lineup of reggae, hip hop and roots. Brought together by the California Roots Music & Arts Festival and Relentless Beats, the Arizona Roots Festival is debuting Feb. 9-10.

The two-day event will feature a lineup of today’s biggest reggae-rock acts, hip hop and roots music activists. Artists announced include Rebelution, Stick Figure, Atmosphere, Dispatch, J Boog, Trevor Hall, Collie Buddz, Katchafire, Mike Love, The Movement, Iya Terra., Xiuhtezcatl, and Synrgy. The festival will highlight Arizona’s reggae movement with Black Bottom Lighters, Clint Stevens, Rilen’Out!, Kill Babylon Coalition, and Tha Yoties.

“We are always looking to expand the California Roots brand and bring the movement to other communities,” states festival Co-Producer Dan Sheehan. He adds, “The Arizona market has been a very good market for all of the bands in our scene, so it made sense for us to make the move to Arizona to launch Arizona Roots Music & Arts Festival.”

A variety of tickets are currently on sale.
