The expanded lineup features exclusive tastings, cocktail-paired dinners, educational opportunities, and expert-led seminars, all designed to spotlight the artistry and innovation behind today’s cocktail culture. At the heart of the weekend are three signature events that draw industry pros and cocktail lovers: The Cocktail Carnival, Top Bars, and Last Slinger Standing.

The festivities kick off in colorful fashion with The Cocktail Carnival on February 28, at the newly renovated Arizona Center in partnership with Downtown Phoenix, Inc. This high-energy daytime event blends brand showcases with interactive entertainment, creating a whimsical, festival-like atmosphere. Guests can wander through immersive displays and booths while sampling more than 30 expertly crafted cocktails.

On March 1, the spotlight turns to Top Bars at Warehouse 215, an annual fan-favorite that transforms downtown Phoenix into a global cocktail destination. More than 40 of the world’s most celebrated bars travel to the city as pop-ups, serving their signature drinks to Arizona crowds.

Past participants have included internationally acclaimed spots such as Trick Dog from San Francisco, Flying Dutchman from Amsterdam, Double Chicken Please from New York City, and Panda & Sons from Edinburgh, Scotland, along with standouts from across Arizona and beyond. It’s a chance to sip creations from some of the best bars on the planet without leaving the state.

The weekend culminates on March 2, with Last Slinger Standing at the event space at Republic National Distilling Company. This high-stakes bartending competition features 16 of Arizona’s top mixologists going head-to-head in a bracket-style showdown. Each round introduces secret ingredients, with cocktails judged by an international panel of experts until only one competitor remains to claim the 2026 title.

For the third year in a row, Arizona Cocktail Weekend also invites venues and bars from across the state to participate, highlighting local talent and the craft of cocktails through collaborations featuring spirits from brand sponsors. Participation is free for Arizona venues, further expanding the weekend’s reach and community feel.

Tickets start at $50, depending on the event and purchase date. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just in it for the vibes, Arizona Cocktail Weekend offers a spirited way to explore global flavors, local talent, and the ever-evolving world of mixology.
