Raise your steins because October is here and there’s only one way to celebrate: at one of the Valley’s top Oktoberfest festivals!

Four Peaks Oktoberfest

Oct. 12-14 at Tempe Beach Park

Revel in the chaos at this free outdoor Bavarian-themed festival with more than 25 varieties of beer, local and international food, music, dancing, rides, contests, sports and more. In addition to all the savory German faves like brats, sauerkraut and pretzels, the festival will also serve up carnival favorites, sweet desserts, island noodles and more. The variety extends into the music and beverage offerings, with something for everyone.

Downtown Phoenix Oktoberfest

Oct. 6 at CityScape

Downtown Phoenix will transform into a German festival complete with authentic fare like brats, schnitzel, pretzels and more, all paired with a variety of German beer. A Bavarian dance floor will feature live polka music and for those looking to flex their German muscles, a variety of competitions will take place including a stein hold, brat eat, pretzel eating and beer maid costume contest.

Old World Oktoberfest

Oct. 5-6 at Centennial Plaza

The West Valley is hosting an authentic German party at Centennial Plaza. Don’t miss the official keg tapping opening ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday before enjoying authentic music (straight from Germany!) all weekend long. A stein holding contest, polka dance contest, best dressed contest and more will take place while authentic food and beer will be on tap all weekend.
