Dana Point, California, located in southern Orange County(not far from the Phoenix Valley area), is a surfing mecca, home to one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline south of Sana Cruz, and, on the weekend of June 24th, it will play host to some of the most beautiful and elegant vehicles on the planet.
Some of the world’s greatest companies have chosen to celebrate collector cars and their culture during the 29th Annual Dana Point Concours d’Elegance, at the St. Regis Monarch Beach resort in Dana Point, Calif., from June 24-26. The event will feature more than 200 of the finest American classics and European exotics, an exciting vintage automobile auction by EG Auctions and an elegant art exhibition in the South Lawn Winner’s Circle. As no event quite like this takes place in the Valley, Phoenix Valley auto enthusiasts and collectors should consider attending this event.
“Our three-day event will be the premier automotive celebration in Southern California this year,” commented Dick Waitneight, chairman on the board of the Concours. “This charity event is made possible only with the help of our sponsors and volunteers, who’ve worked tirelessly to make sure every patron that walks onto the lawn has a wonderful experience.”
Phoenix Valley auto enthusiast and fine car collectors can reach the Dana Point Concours d’Elegance, at the St. Regis Monarch Beach resort in Dana Point, California in roughly six hours from the Phoenix Valley area. Phoenix Valley residents can either take the I-10, which passes through Riverside and Los Angeles, or the I-8, which passes through San Diego, the Cleveland National Forest, and up the Pacific Coast Highway. I recommend taking the I-8.
