Before shuttering its doors, Marc by Marc Jacobs plans to go out with a final hurrah. Keeping in the spirit of the brand’s fun and youthful feel, Marc by Marc Jacobs has collaborated with Walt Disney Co. for a line of products inspired by the upcoming Disney film “Alice Through the Looking Glass.”
Named “I Am Not Like Other Girls,” the collection will include a bunch of accessories, like sunglasses, backpacks, phone cases, jewelry and watches ranging in price from $60 to 400 that will all have references to the classic fairy tale.
Starring Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway, “Alice Through the Looking Glass” finds a 19-year-old Alice returning to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.
Marc by Marc Jacobs “I Am Not Like Other Girls” collection will be available at retail on Nov. 1, preceding the film’s 2016 release.
