Unique Bachelorette Party Ideas

When a couple in love are planning on getting married, there is a veritable cornucopia of different tasks to plan, arrange and take care of. Be it booking the perfect wedding venue, choosing a particular design for the wedding cake, or tirelessly writing and sending out the invitations, there are so many things to be done, and many different elements can go awry if things don't go according to plan. Naturally, something that the bride won't want anyone getting wrong is her bachelorette party.

When you are helping out with your best friend's wedding preparations, you might end up being responsible for throwing the best bachelorette party EVER. And if your future bride isn't particularly interested in a conventional night out that ends with a bunch of inebriated partygoers dancing in some cheesy nightclub at 3am, it might be difficult to think up a few new and unique ideas.

If you are called upon to plan - or at least contribute ideas toward - an über-awesome bachelorette party, would you be capable of coming up with a few non-boozy, yet still enjoyable, ideas? If not, you may want to read on!

Pampering the Princess - Considering how physically and mentally exhausting it is to plan a wedding, why not think about shedding away all the associated stresses and strains, and giving everyone the opportunity to pamper themselves with a deluxe spa getaway? Not only will you be able to enjoy lots of girl talk, but you will also feel like a million dollars once the weekend is over. After all the wedding duties are fulfilled, doesn't everyone owe it to themselves to feel as rested and relaxed as possible before The Big Day?

Sneaky Scavenger Hunt - If the bride-to-be is an extremely active person, and sitting around relaxing all day at a spa is the last thing she would enjoy, how about creating an amusing scavenger hunt? Whether it is limited to a localized area involving a handful of places, or instead a citywide romp that involves some cleverly convoluted Instagram or Snapchat photo clues, you have the choice to make the experience as time-consuming and difficult-to-solve as you want! Perhaps you fancy sending her all over town to revisit places of interest from the lovely couple's past, such as the movie theatre they visited on their first date, or the sumptuous restaurant where the groom proposed. You could even choose a no-cars option, where everyone wears matching shirts and collectively walks around, possibly incorporating some hiking if the weather is pleasant enough!

Dance (or Sing) the Day Away - If your group adores dancing but not necessarily in the company of drunken nightclub revelers, why not book a private group dance session? Whether it's Zumba, a pole dancing lesson, or a funky disco inferno-infused dance class that brings the seventies back to the present day, you'll have fun spending time together boogying down. Or, if singing is more up your alley, croon the night away at a karaoke bar with your bluesy rendition of Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" instead.

Ski (or Ride) the Weekend Away - Conversely, instead of booking a dance class that only lasts an hour or two, could you try to get the gang together for a five-day skiing vacation? Or perhaps ask everyone to saddle up and visit a horse ranch somewhere in the countryside. That way, you'll be able to ride horses together to your heart's content while resisting the opportunity to repeatedly shouting "giddyap" when you feel the need for speed on your steed.

The Personal Touch - If your group wants to create something personal for the blushing bride-to-be to cherish forever, build up a scrapbook that features everyone's favorite memories. A scrapbook is the ideal platform to show how each friendship began, and the many ways that each of your lives have intertwined time and time again. Add photos, ticket stubs, poems and other random beloved keepsakes that help to highlight various life-changing moments you have all shared together. Remember to fill the book halfway and then leave a note inside stating "...this is only the first half of your journey," so the bride-to-be knows that there is still plenty of space inside for everyone to help create new memories in the future after she is single no more.

James Bond's Casino Royale - If your crowd of enthusiastic partygoers are in the mood to don their finest attire and gamble the night away, choose your most glamorous outfit, roll the dice and place a few exciting bets in a venue where you don't necessarily have to drink copious amounts of alcohol to have a good time! After all, an abundance of joie de vivre can be encountered if you overcome the odds and prove that the house doesn't always win. As such, get your best Bond girl outfit on, hire a glitzy limo, and imagine your gambling gal pals are on the way to meet up with Daniel Craig and take part in a high-stakes Texas hold 'em tournament!
