Wedding Dress Trends- Florals

Spring is in the air, love is a bloom and engagements are popping up all over the place.

I think we can all agree that the spring in Arizona is like no other in the country. The sun shines while a light breeze keeps us cool. You can head out to a spring training game, culinary festival, or just grab a bike and go for a ride.

It's no wonder that the spring in Arizona is also one of the most popular times to get married of the entire year.

Spring has me totally inspired from linens, flowers to wedding dresses!

A visit to Mariee in Scottsdale has some of the most beautiful dresses that feature roses and all types of intricate flower designs. Their gowns are selected from around the world based on several criteria like fine couture craftsmanship, beautiful works of art, and can not be available at any other salon in Scottsdale.

Each dress that was photographed was specifically picked for it's floral detailing.

The first gown, Coppellia, is a stunning ball gown with natural waist and sweetheart neckline. This dress has 21 bone corsetry to give any bride an hourglass silhouette. Made from ruched silk gazar this show stopping dress has beautiful hand applied floral details with metallic lace that give an truly unique look.

For a more vintage stylized dress the Torreon is a dropped waist satin gown with an over lay of French Alencon lace. Exquisite floral appliqués are then sewn on top by hand with Swarovski crystal rhinestones at the center of each one. The black satin sash is optional.

The third is the elegant Willow, a truly unique wedding dress. Made from Silk charmeuse and an overlay of silk draped tulle this gown is adorned with gold embroidered vines and flowers. An organza rose and satin ribbons decorate the dress at the hip. This dress is one of the many that suits well with Mairee's concept of "Bridal As Art".

Seville is a ruched dropped waist gown of Thai silk by award winning designer Ian Stuart. An oversized flower make with organza makes a real statement whilst accentuating the layers on silk gazar that flow underneath. The sparkling sweetheart neckline is encrusted with hundreds of Swarovski crystals.

This dress of draped silk designed by Martina Liana has a warm subtle color and large fabric roses nestled into the folds of the fabric. Each flower has a gently beaded edge and there are a row of crystal buttons up the back. Dupioni is the perfect fabric for an Arizona wedding as it is lightweight and will keep brides cool.

This nest dress' name might sound country but the dress is nothing short of over-the-top elegance. Peggy Sue By New York designer Matthew Christopher is a tulle ball gown with a difference – it has an embroidered pinstripe and hand applied petals to give it truly unique detailing that is not normally on a wedding dress. {Trust Ashley….this dress is amazing}
