This Saturday, slip out of your regular weekend routine in exchange for something a little more sophisticated. Sangria Saturdays, hosted by Mediterranean/Southwest restaurant Medizona are a part fun, part fancy way to do just that. A DJ spins the tunes while you and your friends sip refreshing glasses of sangria (or, if you prefer, a glass of wine from their oh-so-extensive list), while munching delicious tapas specials.

If it’s something a little more filling you’re in the mood for, you couldn’t find a better summer eatery. With awards such as “Best Southwestern Restaurant”, “Best Place To Take a Foodie” and “Best New Restaurant”, Medizona is a surefire way to please even the pickiest of palates. Great for summer: the smoked bacon and provolone cheese filled green chili, Moroccan spiced chicken breast and to finish it all off, the Prickly Pear Tiramisu. www.medizonarestaurant.com.
