I’m a fashion designer here in the valley where I’m married to my husband Ryan for almost nine years. I’m originally from here and am a 4th generation Arizonan to be exact. I started to sew when I was about seven — my mother designed and made wedding gowns while I was growing up. She taught me and I just fell more and more in love with fashion. I have two degrees in fashion design and have my own label, Amelia Walsh. I have shown in Scottsdale Fashion Week for three years while building my brand and am currently working on expanding. I hope to someday be the next Donna Karen and have my line offered world-wide, but until then I’ll just be helping people look and feel beautiful one person at a time!

I enjoyed your highlight of Amelia Walsh very much. I was a classmate of Amelia’s at ASU and can second the fact that not only is she talented, but she worked hard at her education also. I have no doubt we will be seeing her designs on the NY runway in the future!
