A Fashionable Scottsdale Weekend

Fall is surely the season for parties and events. It seems that every time I check my email, facebook, and even text messages I am being invited to some delightful place I can’t say no to… Needless to say there are a lot of red dots on my iPhone’s calendar and November weekends are almost completely booked! This past weekend was no exception with two fabulous fashion events happening back to back.

The first was Noir Partie Trois: Espionage En Couture a charity event and fashion show to support the Christopher and Dana Reeve foundation. The event was held in a private hanger at the Scottsdale Aircenter, the perfect location for an indoor/outdoor event. The hanger was transformed into the ideal event space with white leather couches for lounging, three all white bars, a super chic black carpet, great lighting, and of course a jet! Plus the weather was impeccable and I actually managed to wear my first fall dress… sleeves and all!

Prior to all that would happen on and off stage guests enjoyed each other’s company, grabbed some bites from El Santo and Sting Ray Sushi, and my favorite part… stalk the black carpet for celebrity and excellent style. Being that I’m not the biggest sports fan, I can’t honestly tell you who the famous sports players were, but I do know they were there… On the other hand I am a huge fan of cute handsome celebs. Yes, I am talking about Wilmer Valderrama who was the MC for the night. I managed to get a picture with him before the night’s end.

Though that was definitely a highlight of my evening, there was more to come. Prior to the main event, that is Furne One’s McQueen-dedicated fashion show, there were aerialists and even a little drama in the form of a stolen dress (don’t worry it was a planned heist a la actors). Furne One made the evening extra special by making an appearance, having traveled all the way from Dubai. All in all, it was a fantastic event that raised funds for an even better cause.

The next day, I attended the opening of CUSP at Neiman Marcus at Scottsdale Fashion Square (I know, you would think I would be tired of looking at fashion day in and day out but it never happens!). Models from the Agency Arizona donned the department’s newest fall looks from brands like Alice + Olivia, DVF, and Vince. Here are a few of my favorite looks!
