GSQ Expands with New Restaurants, Wellness Spots and Sweet Treats

A wave of new dining, wellness and lifestyle options is on the way to GSQ in Goodyear, as the 150-acre mixed-use development continues its transformation into a central gathering place for the West Valley.

The latest round of announced tenants includes Paris Baguette, Zara Nail Bar, Handel’s Ice Cream, Reformed Pilates, Berry Divine Acai Bowls and Magdalena’s, each adding to the evolving mix of experiences designed to bring people together throughout the day. RED Development managing partner Mike Ebert said the additions reflect GSQ’s growing role as a community hub.

“GSQ is evolving into a true town center for Goodyear and the surrounding West Valley,” Ebert said. “Each addition contributes to how people use the property throughout the day, from morning routines to evenings out. There’s much more ahead as we continue to build out this one-of-a-kind destination.”

Among the new concepts, Reformed Pilates will introduce a boutique fitness studio focused on intentional movement and small-group classes, designed to build a community-centered wellness experience for all levels. Magdalena’s will bring a chef-driven dining concept rooted in Latin influence, featuring a central open kitchen and a design that blends indoor and outdoor space into one continuous experience.

Paris Baguette and Zara Nail Bar are both expected to open by the end of 2026, each occupying roughly 3,000 square feet. Handel’s Ice Cream will debut a new 1,800-square-foot location in early 2027, complete with a patio designed as a neighborhood gathering space. Berry Divine Acai Bowls will also join the lineup with a fall 2026 opening on the Civic Square side of the development, marking its 11th location.

“Goodyear has been on my radar for more than eight years, and GSQ represents the kind of setting we look for when entering a market,” said Joe Maher, franchisee for Handel’s Ice Cream. “We’re designing this location for the community, with a patio and gathering space that gives people a reason to stay.”

The announcements build on recent momentum at GSQ, following openings such as Trader Joe’s, First Watch and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, along with several additional concepts slated to arrive in 2026 and beyond, including Black Rock Coffee Bar, Fogo de Chão, California Fish Grill, CAVA, VEG and Nordstrom Rack.
