Scottsdale Quarter Restaurant Debuts Happy Hour


Scottsdale Quarter is about to get even happier: SOL Mexican Cocina has launched a daily happy hour as well as live entertainment. Special happy hour pricing will be available on select food and drinks daily from 3 to 6 p.m.
Available in the bar and patio area, a variety of food and drink selections will be located on SOL’s happy hour menu. Antojitos will range in price from $4 to $6.50. Selections include Pork Carnitas Street Tacos: premium pork shoulder slow-roasted and shredded (2 for $4); Lemon-Mezcal Chicken Street Tacos: grilled chicken with spicy lemon-mezcal sauce (2 for $4); Naked Guacamole: avocado, cilantro, lime, onion, Serrano chile, and tomato ($6); Pan-Seared Shrimp Cucarachas: six whole peel-and-eat shrimp in the shell, pan roasted with garlic, cotixa, lemon and chiles ($6.50); Cocktel de Mariscos: shrimp, scallops, octopus, pico, chile, cucumber, spicy tomato-lime sauce and diced avocado ($6.50).
Thirsty? SOL’s handcrafted House Margarita ($5) and low-calorie Skinny Margarita ($6.50) are offered on the happy hour menu. Plus, any bottled beer is $3.50, well drinks are $5.50, and wines by the glass are $3 off. SOL’s extensive tequila menu will also be available at a special price, with a Blanco tequila flight up for grabs for for $7.50 or a vertical tasting (blanco, reposado, and anejo) for $12.
Coinciding with the happy hour launch, SOL will have live music every Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Acoustic solo musician, Jake Dean, will entertain guests with classic and modern rock sounds. http://solcocina.com/.
