Eat Up Drive In Reopens in January

After closing its doors following a fire in April 2025, Arcadia eatery Eat Up Drive In is officially reopening and inviting the community back with a grand reopening celebration on January 17, 2026.

Originally opened in 2021, the locally owned restaurant is known for its “cooked slow, served fast” comfort food, from crispy chicken tenders and wood-grilled steak to its famously oversized baked potatoes. Now fully refreshed and updated, Eat Up Drive In is debuting several new additions, including breakfast, making it easier than ever to enjoy this neighborhood favorite any time of day.

“Breakfast has always been a popular request from our guests,” said the Eat Up Drive In team. “We’re excited to offer new options like overnight oats, avocado toast, and a variety of sandwiches to start the day right, along with ice cream shakes and a full espresso menu.”

The menu also continues to feature salads, sandwiches, sides, and vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-friendly options. To celebrate the reopening, Eat Up Drive In will host an event in the parking lot from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on January 17, featuring a special appearance by the Fire Department for a show-and-tell experience, as well as a complimentary lemonade and cookie stand for guests.
