Bluewater Grill Rolls Out Seafood Specials, Tastings and Events

Seafood lovers have plenty of reasons to make repeat visits to Bluewater Grill this summer. The Phoenix hotspot recently unveiled a packed calendar of seasonal promotions, holiday specials and tasting events designed to celebrate everything from oysters and rosé to tequila cocktails and fresh Pacific seafood.

Known for its sustainable seafood offerings and laid-back atmosphere, Bluewater Grill is leaning into summer with rotating food and drink experiences through August. The lineup includes themed tasting dinners, limited-time holiday pricing, and even a World Cup-inspired menu designed to bring fans together over cocktails and seafood favorites.

Things kick off in June with National Rosé Day, where guests can uncork any bottle of rosé in stock for half price, offering a perfect excuse to cool off from the Arizona heat with crisp summer wines. Shortly after, the restaurant will host its monthly Bluewater Second Tuesday Tasting, a multi-course pairing dinner spotlighting local tuna dishes alongside wines like Whispering Angel Rosé and Zotovich Viognier.

The popular tasting series continues throughout the summer, with menus centered on premium seafood and curated wine pairings. July’s “Misoyaki Black Cod Marvel” features Miso Glazed Pacific Black Cod served with green beans, white rice and eel sauce paired with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir selections. August’s “Pacific Swordfish Spectacular” highlights the restaurant’s signature blackened Pacific Swordfish, paired with champagne and Oregon Pinot Noir.

Sports fans also have something to celebrate thanks to Bluewater Grill’s World Cup Menu, available from June 11 through July 19. The special menu showcases cocktails and appetizers inspired by culinary influences from Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. Groups attending matches are encouraged to take advantage of daily food and drink specials throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, the restaurant has several limited-time holiday promotions designed to appeal to nearly every kind of food and beverage enthusiast. During UFC Freedom 250 Fight Night in June, guests can order the restaurant’s patriotic Red, White & Blue Paloma cocktail for a discounted price. America’s 250th Celebration follows in early July, featuring reduced pricing on Bluewater’s popular Oyster Shooters and discounts on the restaurant’s cookbook, “Flavors From the Shore.”

Cocktail-focused holidays will make their way onto the summer schedule. National Martini Day brings discounted Bluewater Martinis, while National Tequila Day features savings on the restaurant’s Pilikia and Coconut Margaritas made with 100 percent agave tequila. Later in the season, National Mai Tai Day gave guests the chance to sip Bluewater’s Captain’s Mai Tai — crafted with rum from Catalina Rum Company — at a reduced price for one day only.

Beer lovers are included! International Beer Day in August offers discounts on draft pours, including local and regional favorites like High Spot Blonde, Pacifico, Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale, and Cali Squeeze Blood Orange Hefeweizen.

Seafood fans may want to mark August 5 on their calendars as well. National Oyster Day allows guests to mix and match a half-dozen freshly shucked oysters at a significant discount. The lineup reflects Bluewater Grill’s approach to combining fresh seafood with approachable dining experiences that encourage guests to gather, celebrate and try something new throughout the season.
