French Bistro Pompette and Speakeasy Little Rich Girl Head to Flagstaff

Two- time James Beard Award semifinalist Rochelle Daniel is expanding her Flagstaff dining portfolio this summer with the opening of Pompette, a French bistro and bakery, and Little Rich Girl (LRG), an underground speakeasy- style cocktail bar. Both concepts will open on Leroux Street in downtown Flagstaff, steps from Daniel’s acclaimed modern-American restaurant, Atria.

The French-inspired menu will feature steak frites, mussels, tuna tartare, coq au vin and means prepared over a custom open-fire hearth. Anticipated highlights include Poulet Rôti, Short Rib Bourguignon, a Lobster Roll on house-made brioche and Grilled Wagyu Skewers. Located beneath Atria, Little Rich Girl will draw inspiration from Flagstaff’s history of underground drinking, secret tunnels and Prohibition-era contraband.

Beverage Director Michael Hopper, named Top Mixologist/Bartender at the 2025 Foodist Awards, will lead the cocktail program. The food menu will pair elevated dishes with playful comfort favorites, including caviar service, foie gras pâté, a Smashburger, a cinnamon roll iced tableside and a hot fudge sundae.

Guests can also order the Glizzy, a loaded hot dog, or Tots and Shots, featuring caviar- and Parmesan-topped tater tots with chilled vodka. Pompette and Little Rich Girl are expected to open later this summer. Pompette will serve breakfast pastries, lunch and dinner daily, while Little Rich Girl will operate Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. until midnight or later.
