On August 1, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is officially rolling out their fall seasonal cheesecakes: Caramel Apple Cheesecake, a rich caramel and green apple delight topped with caramel syrup and whipped cream and Chocolate Cheesecake, a decadent dessert served with chocolate syrup and topped with whipped cream.
August is National Sandwich Month and to celebrate, Luci’s Healthy Marketplace customers, with the purchase of two sandwiches, customers will receive two free 20-oz. iced teas, either green pomegranate citrus or traditional black iced tea during the entire month.
On Sunday, August 3, Bink’s Midtown will host a Pig’s Head Party. The all-you-can-eat dining event is $24.95 from noon to 4 p.m. and features slow-roasted local pig head from The Meat Shop in Downtown Phoenix. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in August, Quiessence at The Farm at South Mountain (pictured) hosts a three-course tasting menu using fresh and locally grown ingredients from producers throughout the Valley, with a sprinkling of herbs and flowers from the Quiessence edible garden. The dinner is $40 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Reserve your seating by calling 602.276.0601 and mentioning “A Taste of Quiessence.”
The Cove Trattoria in Scottsdale hosts its final tastings of its Summer Wine Series, set for Sunday, August 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event will feature informal tastings of up to three varietals and light appetizers for $15 per person. A representative from Vino 750 will be on-hand pouring. Space is limited, guests should call 480.951.8273 for reservations.
