The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park

El Paso, Texas – Opening Early 2020

This landmark property that debuted in the 1930’s and once hosted A-listers like Conrad Hilton, Elizabeth Taylor and others, will complete an extensive renovation and reopen in 2020. The hotel will feature more than 7,000 square feet of new event space and the new Ambar Restaurante and rooftop bar La Perla, inspired by Elizabeth Taylor’s famed pearl.

Austin, Texas – Opening April 2020

Auberge Resorts Collection will welcome its first city hotel this spring in the dynamic destination of Austin, Texas. The resort-style hotel in the heart of the city, will be a first for Austin. Located in Hancock Park, it will be built into the original historical residence from the 1920’s and will be designed like a traditional home. It will be situated on nearly 10 acres on Waller Creek, featuring a home, chapel and gardens within a walled compound resembling a historic country estate.

Santa Fe, New Mexico – Opening Spring 2020

Bordering the Santa Fe National Forest in the Tesuque Valley, Bishop’s Lodge is a historic retreat transformed into a luxury resort. Ideal for outdoor explorers, the resort offer 317 acres of adventure including horseback riding (the hotel has its own stables), an onsite trout stream for fishing and an array of walking and biking trails. The hotel will also feature artists-in-residence, upholding Santa Fe’s iconic art scene. You likely are familiar with the celebrity-loved desert oasis that is Amangiri. The Utah resort is known for its holistic wellness and secluded locale. Now, the resort has added a new way to stay. Camp Sarika is located a short drive from Amangiri and is a tented retreat of the utmost luxury. A total of 10 canvas-topped pavilions each boast a private plunge pool and are centered around a lounge, restaurant and pool area. Guests staying here can also take advantage of Amangiri’s amenities and dining options.

The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley, Arizona – Opening Summer 2020

Spanning 20 acres and backdropped by Camelback, Mummy and McDowell mountains, the highly anticipated resort will be the centerpiece of the new $2 billion Palmeraie community, home to upscale boutiques and restaurants. Housed inside the former First National Bank of Dallas building in the downtown business district, the 50-story tower will be transformed into a 219-room hotel. Featuring the brand’s smart and sophisticated design, the new hotel will also incorporate many of the building’s original elements. Highlights of the new property include some of the largest rooms in downtown Dallas, a rooftop observation deck with 360-degree views, spa and wellness deck, fitness center, meeting and event space, outdoor infinity-edge pool and restaurants and bars.

San Antonio, Texas – Opening Summer 2020

Perfect for travelers looking to explore the best of the Alamo City, the hotel will be located within the newly established Arts District on the north side of downtown San Antonio. Its outdoor pool will overlook River Walk which will be just steps from the property. Sedona, Arizona – Opening December 2020

North America’s first “landscape hotel” Ambiente will feature 40 cube-shaped, hand-placed luxury guest atriums elevated above the ground by steel piers and featuring floor-to-ceiling glass walls. In-room amenities include a double-sided fireplace above the platform bed, heated floors, a double shower and more. Some atriums will even boast private rooftop decks accessed via staircase. All lighting on the property will be indirect so that no exposed lightbulbs will be used anywhere, making Ambiente compliant with Dark Sky ordinances.
