The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley Announces Summer 2020 Opening

The highly anticipated The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley has officially announced an expected opening date of summer 2020. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, the new five-star resort will be the centerpiece of the $2 billion, 122-acre community of The Palmeraie.

The new property will span more than 20 acres with 215 guest accommodations to boot. Rooms will include spacious suites, oversized suites, detached casitas and bungalows. Large windows with deep overhangs will emphasize indoor-outdoor living and showcase the desert’s iconic sunsets. Guest rooms will be connected by shaded walkways and lush courtyard gardens to create the vibe of a village.

The grand lobby will be located above the hotel and greet guests with views overlooking Camelback Mountain. A water feature will cascade down from the lobby and through the property to a 16,000-square-foot world-class spa with indoor and outdoor treatment rooms. The spa will also boast a private pool with a circuit of various jetted treatments plus a whirlpool, Vichy shower, rainwalk and cabanas.

To cool off, guests can soak up the sun at a nearly 400-foot pool, one of the largest in North America. A specialty dining concept will feature seasonal produce from the resort’s anticipated herb garden and 400-tree citrus orchard. Additional amenities include a 2,500-square-foot state-of-the-art health and fitness center and an array of indoor-outdoor meeting and event spaces. Venues will include the amphitheater, secret garden and a grand lawn with views of Camelback, Mummy and McDowell mountains.

The resort will be surrounded by 81 single-level Ritz-Carlton Residences Villas and 39 single-family Ritz-Carlton Residences Estate Homes. Both Estates and Villas will be Ritz-Carlton-branded, -serviced and -managed and available as whole ownership. Residences will have their own Clubhouse with a lounge area and junior Olympic sized-pool, fitness facilities, landscaped grounds, a dedicated director of residences, concierge, priority access to hotel amenities and a host of a la carte services such as in-residence dining, housekeeping and engineering services.
