Holiday Happenings at Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain and Omni Montelucia

With all the holiday activities going on this time of year, it can be hard to decide which ones to participate in.

Thankfully, both Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain and Omni Montelucia have a number of events going on the month of December so that you have ample opportunity to fill up with as much holiday cheer as possible!

If you’re looking for the perfect quick getaway that gives you a total escape from reality, then Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain is your place.

And with all the holiday happenings here, you will be saying “sayonara” to your stress and “hello” to happiness.

Fourth Annual Holiday Tree-Lighting Ceremony | Sunday, December 3

From 5 – 8 p.m., you will be feeling all the holiday cheer at the resort. With holiday refreshments prepared by Ritz-Carlton chefs, as well as a visit from Santa himself, this ceremony is a great way to kick off the holiday season.

Spread the cheer as well by bringing a toy to donate to the Marin Corps’ Toys for Tots Foundation in Tucson, or canned food to donate to the Marana Food Bank.

Admission is $25 per vehicle, and includes refreshments, entertainment, and photos with Santa. A portion of the proceeds will go to Tucson’s Casa de los Ninos. 

Dine-In Gingerbread House | December 2 – 27

Known internationally to be one of the best places to dine during the holiday season, The Ritz-Carlton’s Dine-In Gingerbread House is back again this year.

Reserve a private meal for up to six people inside the resort’s gingerbread house and love eating amongst all the holiday happiness.

Booking for this eating experience is $200 per midweek seating, or $250 per weekend seating plus individual meal costs.

Christmas Weekend | December 23 – 25

The excitement has been building up for the weekend of Christmas, and The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain will not disappoint.

Gingerbread Decorating Workshop |  2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 24

Christmas Eve Dinner at CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar | 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Dinner is priced at $98 for adults, $38 for children under 12. 

Monday, December 25

Christmas Brunch at CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar | 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Brunch is priced at $90 for adults, $38 for children under 12.

Christmas Dinner at Cayton’s Burger Bistro | 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Prime rib special plus regular à la carte menu

Monday, December 25

Christmas Dinner at CORE Kitchen and Wine Bar | 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Dinner is priced at $98 for adults, $38 for children under 12.

Merry Montelucia Ho Ho Ho Hike | December 9, 8:00 a.m. 

Show off your holiday spirit and get a great workout while doing so! This holiday-themed hike is all about the costumes — Most Spirited hike wins a 50-minute massage at Joya Spa.

Even better, this hike is led by none other than Santa Claus, so reserve your spot now!

This hike is priced at $25 per person.

Yappy Hour Howl’day Party | December 13, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Your dogs deserve to have a fun holiday too, and this party is their chance. Bring your dressed up pup to the Howl’day Party for some photo opps with Santa, as well as a chance to win a box filled with Harry Barker treats, toys, and picture frames.

If your dog wins the prize of best costume, you’ll also go home with a bottle of Montelucia wine (in addition to the free glass of wine every guest gets!).

This party is priced at $15 per guest.

Breakfast With Santa | December 2, 9, 16, and 23, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Have you ever experienced the joys of a Spanish Christmas feast? Regardless of whether your answer is “yes,” or “no,” you won’t want to miss out on this breakfast buffet.

Here you’ll be able to stuff yourself with:

  • scrambled eggs
  • French toast
  • smoked bacon
  • crispy hashbrowns

  • Marzipan

Kids will love decorating cookies with Santa at breakfast too, and get to take home their own Moravian Star ornament.

This traditional brunch at Prado will feel nothing like a boring tradition.

Enjoy classic favorites such as:

Christmas Dinner | December 25, 3:00 – 8:30 p.m.

This four-course, prix-fixe menu dinner offers up fabulous dishes such as filet mignon, seafood paella, and roasted sea bass.

And don’t forget dessert — eggnog tiramisu and chocolate bomba.

This dinner is priced at $95 per adult, and $35 per child aged 6-12.
