“Mimosa and Monet is designed to be much more than an art class; it’s an opportunity to slow down, get inspired, and enjoy the setting,” said Pam Swartz, the Director of Guest Experience. “The charm and character of The Hermosa Inn naturally creates an inspiring backdrop, while the mimosas, beautiful gardens, and welcoming atmosphere make it easy for guests to let go of expectations and simply have fun with their creativity, no matter their experience level.”

The class is designed to inspire everyone from novice painters to promising artists as a memorable morning that combines hands-on and step-by-step instruction with morning mimosas as each artist paints and sips their way through creating their masterpiece.

You can extend the vibes with a celebratory brunch at LON’s and enjoy a complimentary appetizer or cocktail with the purchase of one brunch entrée. Vouchers will be presented in class.

The Hermosa Inn was built in the 1930s by cowboy artist Lon Megargee as his home and art studio. Today, the inn radiates authentic character and charm through the handcrafted adobe architecture. The one-of-a-kind ambiance amassed significant praise, including the 2019 and 2020 Stella Awards for Best Boutique Hotel in the Southwest region.

The Hermosa Inn was named Arizona’s #2 Hotel in Travel and Leisure’s World’s Best Awards 2026. The inn also earned a spot on the T + L 500 list in 2023 and 2024 and names the #2 Hotel in the Southwest & West in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards.
