For one evening this August, guests at Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel in Sedona can experience Northern Arizona through the lens of food, wine and the region’s natural beauty. Forty1, the property’s signature restaurant, will host “Northern Arizona, On the Plate” on August 20, led by Executive Chef Kyle Rhodes.
The intimate dinner is designed to offer guests a closer look at Rhodes’ culinary perspective. Limited to just 20 guests, the experience will draw inspiration from the landscapes, pairing seasonal ingredients and technique with a strong sense of connection to Oak Creek’s natural surroundings.

“Northern Arizona, On the Plate” will feature a five-course tasting menu centered on modern American cuisine with global influences. The evening is designed as a full sensory experience rather than simply a meal. Guests will enjoy wine pairings with each course, along with a cocktail hour reception and live music.
The setting is also a major part of the experience. After dinner, guests can enjoy dessert under the stars, followed by guided stargazing led by a professional astronomer; a fitting finale for an evening inspired by the landscapes and natural beauty surrounding Sedona.

The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and is priced at $300 per person, including tax and gratuity. Guests looking to turn the dinner into a longer Sedona getaway can also extend the evening with an Atrium stay at Ambiente, with rates starting at $399 per night. Reservations are available through Ambiente’s dining page.
