There isn’t much to me. I am blunt, real, and raw. I was born in the nation’s capitol and did an evening show for many years at HOT 995. Then I moved to Chicago’s legendary B96 for 7 and a half years where I hosted nights and the morning drive. Which brings me to the present here in Ariz.!

I have won the AIR Award in DC for “Best Local Broadcaster” while at HOT. I also have won the Silverdome Award in Illinois for the same title three years in a row. I have hosted thousands of events (literally), from professional to private and bar/club venues.

I’m a pretty simple guy really. I dig good food, movies, and checking out good live music.

I was born…

In Alexandria, Va (outside of Washington DC). Went to high school and college there as well.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

The weather that is going on right NOW! Not two months ago, that’s for sure. Oh yea, I also feel 100% safe I can walk anywhere and not have a worry at all that I’m gonna be robbed or shot, otherwise I may be forced to break out my ninja like tactics and black belt I got when I was 13.

I’m listening to…

Chance the Rapper (out of Chicago), who will be the next Common or Lupe. He has the potential to be bigger, His cadence is SICK. You will find the same artists in my car, I’m weird. I also vibe on Vic Mensa, Logic, Kids These Days, and the Oh My’s. Although I work for a mainstream CHR – I am fine with that music – but it doesn’t define who I am.

My family…

Is not the “norm.” My mom and I are closer than we ever have been. She is absolutely bananas and creative which is where I think I got my strange persona from. She’s a former fashion designer and created dresses for people such as Miss Maryland and Miss Virginia. My father used to own an art gallery back in Va until things went south financially. He has Dementia and Parkinson’s. I am super strong mentally through all of the things I have experienced, so its all good.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Jennifer Love Hewitt so I could ask her why she dates all these LOSERS and not give this Asian a shot! WTF! Jamie Kennedy??! Ever since, I saw Can’t Hardly Wait, and yes I am a guy admitting that LOL! That train scenes the best. Oh yea, Taylor Swift is dope too! She needs a complete contrast of what she is I think.

One thing I cannot live without…

Are my SHOES! Its an addiction. I have a separate room for them and don’t wear 70% of them. Mostly a mix of Nike Retro Jordans, Air Max Runners, Dunks, and a few kicks from ALIFE, Hundreds, VANS, Adidas Jeremy Scott’s – blah blah. Hey, it could be worse, like something you inhale or snort, right?

When I was younger…

I wanted to be an MTV VJ for sure! I used to watch Carson Daly and Sway and be like “Yo, I could do that”. I don’t wanna talk about it anymore…..the more I think about it the more bitter I get LOL. But for real, always wanted to inject my crazy personality into TV programming.

I’m inspired by…

Radio/TV personalities that are truly entertaining, real and RAW. I’m a fan of all of it. Charlemagne out of Power 105 in NYC. Kane out of HOT 995 DC. Jimmy Fallon, Chelsea Lately, and cats like that are what keep me movin. My mother also inspires me and gives me great perspective on life.

The one person who motivates me is…

The street, and the fact that I never want to end up on one homeless. What motivates me is the fear of failure.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

To dissolve a rich/poor/middle class of people. Instead make every single person on the same plane, financially and socially.

The perfect day would be…

Watching all the classic 90’s “Brat Pack” movies like 16 Candles, Breakfast Club. Add in Stand By Me, Reality Bites, and Say Anything I’m a happy camper. They don’t make movies like that anymore. It blows. Oh, and big ass bowl of homemade PHO.

My first job was…

Selling aftermarket import car parts out of my house.

My favorite escape…

Is to Chinatown. Is there one here?

My life…

Is constantly putting me through tests.

I’m currently working on…

This questionnaire. Oh, yea and finding cool people and tastemakers to interview for my homie’s side company/blog (gowherehiphop.com) that I work with.

Always…

Treat people like crap. They will respect you more. If you believe me I am being sarcastic. Always, smile in the workplace even if you hate that person LOL. I don’t know how to answer this question.

Never…

Fully trust anyone but your parents. I’ve learned the hard way!

Favorite Quote…

“Anyone can have a burger, that’s boring and played out. Strive to be the stuffed green pepper”. –I just made that up.

Biggest Dream…

To host my own TV show kinda like Leno and Jimmy Fallon. Hell to host my own morning show, my way would be dope as well. On a big stage with my real life homies that know me inside and out. If I fail at the above than I’ll go with creating my own “streetwear-fashion” boutique from the ground up with my homies.

My Pet Peeve…

Are pretentious people who just “don’t get it.”
