Title: Adventures Sales Leader

Married/Single: Married

City you live in: Scottsdale, AZ

A typical day in my life includes… Wake up, check emails and social pages, hop on the computer and connect with clients for most of the day, make lists and plan for future clients and potential collaborations, try and find a new local spot for dinner, hot tub, and then bed. For most of 2019, I was on the road and hope that happens again in 2021.

I was born… in Hong Kong. I spent the first decade of my life living in SE Asia and I think this planted the bug in me that adventure and travel would always be a big aspect of my life. I love being out with the people and feeling all of the energy from a bustling city.

My favorite thing about Arizona… the sun, the food, the scenery, desert living, all of the sports we have in the valley, one of the best airports around, and everyone seems so happy to live here. I’m also a very proud Sun Devil and happy to be able to attend events at ASU!

I’m listening to… Girl Talk on repeat.

My family… drives me crazy, but couldn’t love them any more! We are all so different but really support each other.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Richard Branson

One thing I cannot live without… laughter & airplanes

When I was younger, I wanted to be… President! I don’t know what I was thinking because I have no interest in working in politics, but I was ambitious from a young age, to say the least.  Even when I found out that because I was born out of the country I could never be president I wrote a letter to the white house asking them to change the law.

I’m inspired by… Other Strong Female Bosses. Some of my favorites at the moment are Ashley Graham, Kiersten Rich at The Blonde Abroad and Aggie Lal with Travel in Her Shoes.

The one person who motivates me is… me. I have always had a strong force inside of me to want to challenge myself, learn, and grow.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… a clean ocean. One of my passions is surfing and the ocean is so beautiful. It kills me to walk on a beach and see all the trash we have left behind and even worse when I see animals hurt from our plastic waste.

The perfect day would be… on a beach somewhere halfway around the world. No phones or computers in sight. Just being able to enjoy the sun, waves and maybe a Pina Colada.

My first job was… A mobile energizer at Red Bull. Probably my favorite job still to this day. Being able to bring a can of Red Bull to people all around the valley, put on a smile on their faces, and hand them a cold energy drink was so much fun! I loved the team I worked with and learned so much about marketing and customer service from this role.

My favorite escape… too many to count! My bucket list grows daily, but some of my favorite spots so far are The Maldives Islands, Los Angeles, Belize, Miami, Cuba, Buenos Aires and Big Sur. Always looking for off-the-beaten-path suggestions as well!

My life… is one big adventure!

I’m currently working on… growing my sales skills. I am also always working on my photography and Instagram page. I love growing my following and hearing stories from my followers who are all over the world!

Always… fun

Never… boring…or mayo! I don’t understand how people can eat mayonnaise.

Favorite Quote… “If it excites you and scares you at the same time, it probably means you should do it.”

Biggest Dream… To have a positive impact on the world while having fun living in it.

My Pet Peeve(s)… Disloyal people

More About Chelsea:
Chelsea currently works full time in software sales and in her social media business where she showcases a strong and continuously growing presence on Instagram (@Lax.Chelsea).  The Instagram page is focused on travel and lifestyle photography.  In less than 4 years she has grown her page by 55,000 fans and looks forward to continuing to meet new people, network, and connect through the social channel.

I feel like I have really stepped up my photography and editing skills in the past year and am always looking to expand and evolve these skills. I enjoy working with local businesses that I cherish and being able to showcase them to nearly 60,000 people worldwide. Especially with the pandemic, if I can drive sales to these smaller local businesses it can make all the difference in them being able to keep their doors open.

Hoping that travel returns to some capacity in 2021! But in the meantime I am making big business plans, setting high goals and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me!
