What has been most rewarding is bringing the strategic rigor of large organizations into the hands of passionate Arizona entrepreneurs.

Today, The Polished Brand helps founders build brands that are polished, purposeful and built for sustainable growth through brand development, marketing and strategic planning.

AZF: What is your “life motto”?

“Do good, have fun.” It’s a phrase my dad always said to me throughout my childhood and one that still guides me today. To me, it means building a life and business rooted in purpose while helping others succeed and enjoying it along the way. Life is too short not to do work you love, and too meaningful not to use your gifts to make a positive impact on others.

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path for you?

Not at all. For most of my career, I was focused on growing as a leader within corporate retail and was fortunate to learn from some truly incredible brands and teams. Over time, I realized what energized me the most was helping businesses solve problems, uncover opportunities, and bring their vision to life.

The entrepreneurial spark came after becoming a mother. It gave me the perspective to pursue something more intentional. It wasn’t a single moment, but rather a series of experiences that inspired me to create something from the ground up. I wanted a career that more closely aligned with family life and felt more meaningful on a personal level.

That vision became The Polished Brand. It combines everything I learned in corporate retail with the opportunity to build something of my own, while helping fellow founders grow businesses they genuinely love.

AZF: How do you feel best supported?

I feel most supported by those who lead with genuine openness, offer thoughtful perspective during challenges, celebrate the wins and aren’t afraid to ask the hard questions.

On a personal level, I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from my family, my village of fellow toddler mamas and the inspiring community of entrepreneurs within Foundress. They’ve encouraged me to pursue ambitious goals while staying grounded in what matters most.

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?

The entrepreneurs I have the privilege of serving. Watching a founder gain confidence to launch, grow and scale a business while seeing their vision come to life is incredibly rewarding. I’m also motivated by my children. Building and expanding a business has shown me the importance of taking thoughtful risks, pursuing meaningful work, and creating a life aligned with your values. I hope they grow up seeing that it’s possible to build something with purpose and passion while defining success on your own terms.

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday.

A slow morning with my husband and our two little ones. Right now, life is wonderfully full with two children under 3. My perfect Saturday starts with an Amelia’s Iced Coffee, followed by a walk to our park, then heading home for naps, a quiet dinner and an evening spent watching the kids play on the swing set or in the pool.

The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve realized that the quieter moments of uninterrupted core family time together are the most meaningful and memorable. It’s amazing how some of your best ideas emerge when you step away from the demands of work and make space for the people and experiences that matter most.

AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?

Bet on yourself and don’t wait until everything is perfect to start. Yes, building something great takes time, but many entrepreneurs spend too much time trying to perfect the logo, website, or plan before putting themselves out there. The reality is that your business will continue to evolve as you learn from your clients and experiences along the way. Start before you feel ready, stay curious, and focus on what your clients are telling you. The businesses that thrive are most often the ones willing to learn, adapt and evolve as they grow.

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?

My greatest passion is guiding and enabling founders having a great idea, into a business that can scale with intention. Watching that vision come to life is incredibly rewarding.
