AZF: What is your “life motto”?
I connect people one podcast at a time.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of owning my own clothing store, and that dream came true when I opened one in Scottsdale. From there, the passion for building businesses just kept growing. I went on to open a karate school in Paradise Valley and have been running a marketing agency for the past 15 years. Each venture taught me something new, but what I’ve loved most throughout every chapter has been the support, connection, and impact – building relationships and helping others grow.
Being a part of PodWorks Studios is especially meaningful because it was something I had on my vision board. When the opportunity appeared, I recognized it instantly. Now, I get to help others share their voices and expand their reach through the power of podcasting – something that blends everything I love about entrepreneurship: creativity, connection, and making dreams real.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
Having a team of like-minded go-getters who share similar core values makes all the difference. Whether it’s bouncing around ideas, navigating challenges, or just having someone in your corner reminding you of your greatness, support like that keeps me aligned and energized. Knowing I’m surrounded by people who genuinely want to see each other win? That’s powerful – and that’s where the magic happens.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
Knowing I have an incredible, supportive community of family and friends who believe in me – that’s everything. And beyond that, it’s an honor and a privilege to serve our clients, who depend on us throughout their podcasting journey. Their belief in the vision, their wins, and their growth are what fuel me.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
That’s easy. Spending time with family and friends, telling stories, enjoying a great breakfast, and being together.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
Keep going – and rest when you need to – but don’t stop. It’s all worth it: the work, the sweat, the grind. One day, you’ll look back and say, “I did that,” with pride in your heart and a story worth telling. Stay the course. The journey is part of the reward.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
It’s the ability to turn vision into impact. Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working as a professional podcast specialist – helping individuals and businesses create, manage, and promote their shows. But being a part of PodWorks Studios since last year, when we launched in Mesa, has taken that passion to the next level.
As an entrepreneur, I get to build a space that empowers others to be heard, seen, and recognized as the experts they are. Watching Arizona business owners step up to the mic and use their voices to educate, inspire, and connect with their communities – that’s what fuels me. Entrepreneurship gives me the freedom to create meaningful work and the platform to help others do the same. And that never gets old.
