A typical day in my life includes…

my cooking; most days I have a plan, but within a few minutes it is blown so I go with the flow and it becomes a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and usually ends up pretty good.

I was born…

yes.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the 300+ days of blue skies. I realized that when I moved to California in my 20’s and the marine layer took up most the day. Love my blue skies first thing in the morning and the dusk sky is pretty spectacular also.

I’m listening to…

hear.

My family…

from me out, (my kids, their kids, etc) pretty decent, actually down right excellent people – prior to me, well let me just say there are issues with them thinking they have more control than they do.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

my daughter Kaity, sister Lorie, friends Rosie and Bonnie – all have passed before their time.

One thing I cannot live without…

oxygen.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a lawyer. My Nana loved Raymond Burr in Perry Mason. I know I totally dated myself, but I was itty bitty….

I’m inspired by…

honesty and candor.

The one person who motivates me is…

my husband, he will move mountains if necessary to open doors for his family.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

end the abuse of power and control.

The perfect day would be…

the whole family together enjoying a gathering with great weather and games and food.

My first job was…

bus person at Walgreens in Christown Mall.

My favorite escape…

Surf City, North Carolina.

My life…

has had many obstacles and adversity, but through it all I have learned how to love and be loved; that nothing is more important than the people we love that encourage and empower us.

I’m currently working on…

launching my first book “C is for Conquer” and running Kaity’s Way.

Always…

stay positive and impeccable with your words even in trying times find the silver lining because everything does happen for a reason.

Never…

make assumptions you never know what others are thinking or what they are dealing with.

Favorite Quote…

“Now is the time to do what is right” – Martin Luther King

Biggest Dream…

an entire family vacation someplace simple but exotic and everyone is enjoying everyone.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

rude/mean people.
