City you live in: Phoenix

A typical day in my life includes… a lot of moving parts! I always start my day with a great work out. After I go into my office, Taylor & Gomez, to start my day as a lawyer. While no two days look the same, I spend most of my time working with clients and going to court to ensure they case is tried fairly and I can help them in anyway.

When I am not in the office, I try to attend a live sporting event. I love the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals.

I was born in… Iceland. My dad was in the military so I have lived in and traveled all over the world.

My favorite thing about Arizona…the beautiful sunsets

I’m listening to…the lion king soundtrack. There are so many good messages in the songs and it is a classic album.

My family… is the most important thing in my life. They help keep me humble and have instilled a good work ethic in me. I am so grateful for them.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…Jesus Christ. People all over the world, religious or not, have studied Jesus Christ as a key figure in history so it would be fascinating to meet Jesus.

One thing I cannot live without…is my phone and phone charger. Not only does it keep me connected to my work and clients, but it is also how I connect with my loved ones and the community.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…an astronaut

I’m inspired by…people who have come from nothing and made their lives successful. I love those rags to riches stories.

The one person who motivates me is…For me, I cannot pick just one person. It is my clients who motivate me most. They are putting their lives in my hands no matter what their case is. Their trust in me motivates me to do the best I can on their case and have a positive impact in their lives.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…right now I would love to change the heat in Arizona. It would be great to lower the extreme heat waves in the summer.

The perfect day would be…waking up slowly and having breakfast on my patio while reading one of my favorite novels. Then I would finish the day by going to a wonderful restaurant for dinner and relaxing on the couch.

My first job was… as a parts-puller for an auto parts company in Phoenix. My job was to look in our system to find the proper parts for the customers who needed something new for their car.

My favorite escape…is walking around the mall and people watching.

My life…is different every single day.

I’m currently working on…being a better person each and every day. I am working on always showing empathy to whoever I encounter.

Always…be kind.

Never…let your first emotion control your first action.

Favorite Quote…“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Biggest Dream…to live past 100 years old and to have my family and friends live past 100 too so I have people to live a long, happy life with.

My Pet Peeve(s)…people who cut in line.
