This stellar European-inspired Paradise Valley home is magazine centerspread ready –– and ready for you and your family.

On 2.27 acres of lush vegetation, the 8,049-square-foot estate features six ensuite bedrooms, a six-bay garage, a fully remodeled 1,055-square-foot detached guest house and a secluded pool and spa on a very quiet cul-de-sac, 7453 North 70th Street, in the Views of Cheney community.

“From the moment you enter through its serene gates and in to the circular drive, this completely remodeled luxury home offers a private and luxurious feel, an aura of sanctuary with its fountains and multiple courtyards,” says Frank Aazami, RLSIR Brand Ambassador, principal of the Private Client Group, Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, Scottsdale.

“This is a timeless Modern European-style residence, with great attention to detail, delicate transitional accents and focal points highlighting its beauty in classic sophistication and livable elegance,” adds Zoja Pedenko, a PCG associate who is co-brokering the home with him.

Interior designer Jennifer Coates, principal of JL Coates Design, coordinated with the owner for the remake. “The design/build team remodeled each room and bathroom as well as added an additional bathroom,” Pedenko explains.

Square footage was repurposed from the dining prep area for a new powder room. “Each room throughout this property was remodeled and redesigned, from the entry off the garage into the kitchen to the major transformation of the master bathroom vanity and his and her showers,” adds Coates, who was referred to the owner by Navin Pathangay, an Arizona commercial architect.

“Our team redesigned the existing floorplan for better flow plus function,” says Coates, noting that the new layout updated the kitchen, dining room, office, living room, laundry, pantry, powder room, wine cellar and guest bathroom. Serving clients nationwide, her JL Coates Design has two offices, Scottsdale and Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

In addition, “We removed the columns that divided the kitchen and the living room,” she explains. “Large sliding doors replaced the French doors and existing windows and now provide a direct line of sight to the pool and the backyard oasis.”

The team also updated paint, lighting, cabinetry, tile and countertops, and the flooring in the main areas is now engineered hardwood. And, all of the interior fireplaces have been completely redesigned.

Coates adds that the owner “has a sophisticated, European-inspired style, so we kept this in mind when procuring their custom furnishings and custom window treatments throughout.”

This Modern European vibe is most evident in the enlarged kitchen, which features a La Cornue range, a custom-designed range hood, Sub-Zero appliances, two large islands with Vadara quartz countertops, a walk-in pantry and a breakfast bar. In addition, the new owners will have the use of a gas cook-top and built-in recycling. A water softener is also in place.

Equally impressive, the master suite has been remodeled with a custom fireplace and window treatments including automated shades, and, in the marble bathroom, his and hers showers, double sinks, a private toilet room, two master baths, one jetted, and a bidet. The suite now has its own exit, walk-in closet and sitting room.

For convenience, the home has no interior steps, and the hallways are 36-inches wide. Three gas fireplaces offer winter comfort, including one outside where a fire pit also provides warmth and enhances the ambiance.

Technology includes pre-wired surround sound as well as security and Smart home systems. Energy-savings elements are tinted dual-pane windows; mechanical sun shades; foam roofing insulation; programmable thermostat; and Energy Star-certified equipment.

Outside, the guest house has also been remodeled and now has engineered hardwood floors throughout; the cabinetry has been refinished, and new quartz counters were added as well as more contemporary cabinet pulls. Near the pool/spa is a built-in barbecue.

Nearby are many resorts, shops, restaurants and recreational opportunities such as Scottsdale Fashion Square, the largest mall in the Southwest, and hundreds of miles of hiking, biking and nature trails in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Your children can attend Scottsdale Unified District schools or nearby private schools.

“This home is unique in the fact that it offers a style that is timeless and classic,” Coates says. Pedenko adds: “The mix of stylish traditional elements and contemporary flair found in this home creates the perfect eclectic balance for the new owners to match to their lifestyle.”

And, Aazami says, “Timeless, stylish, classic and gorgeously rethought, this Paradise Valley home can be yours now. Come visit it with us, then come home.”
