IN THE HEART OF SCOTTSDALE, A NEW HOME RISES FROM THE DESERT FLOOR, its statement-making sculptural facade catching the late-afternoon sun. Elegantly named Rosa Blanca, the 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath residence with an additional flexible room spans 4,100 square feet and marks the debut of Minima, an innovative brand from Minimal Living Concepts co-founders Zander Diamont and Jared Amzallag.
Minimal Living Concepts first made its name in the Valley in 2021 as a design-forward builder of accessory dwelling units, celebrated for its clean-lined aesthetic and straightforward design and build process. But as projects for guest homes multiplied, so did client requests: Could the firm take its vision further, creating larger, purpose-built homes for families?
Minima is the response, a design-led development company devoted entirely to custom, full-size residences where architecture, construction and design consciousness all live under one roof.
“We’re taking everything we’ve learned from revolutionizing compact living and scaling it up to create homes that breathe simplicity and sophistication,” says Diamont.
Introducing Rosa Blanca
With Rosa Blanca, Minima presents its first spec home and its philosophy in practice. Formed in collaboration with partners in Mexico City, the house is fronted by a specially made, handcrafted wall of one-of-a-kind textured blocks that catch, hold and artfully disperse the desert light. The effect is a facade that feels cosmopolitan yet deeply rooted in place.
“We set out to craft something different, something alive with international influence,” says Diamont. “The facade is designed to turn heads and set the tone for a home that’s as much a landmark as it is a sanctuary.”
Inside, the palette is clean and tactile; the mood calm and quietly luxurious. Ultra-wide white oak floors run the length of the home, paired with creamy neutral travertine that evokes a high-end resort. White oak cabinetry and accents repeat throughout spaces that open fluidly into one another, balancing expansiveness with intimacy. Rosa Blanca is a house meant to be lived in and to evolve gracefully with its owners.
“This is about sophistication that feels like a deep breath, a design so timeless it’ll be just as tasteful in 2045 as it is today,” says Diamont. “Rosa Blanca’s not chasing trends; it’s setting a standard for what a home can feel like when every material is chosen with intention.”
The Minima Way
If Rosa Blanca embodies Minima’s aesthetic, the process behind it reflects the brand’s ethos. The journey of building a Minima home begins with a complimentary discovery call that is more of a collaborative conversation than consultation.
The Minima team aims to understand how a client lives, what they value and what they dream of in a home. From there, Minima’s design team develops sketches, 3D models and detailed cost estimates, ensuring clarity at every stage. The result is a turnkey process that guides clients from contract to move-in, often within 18 to 24 months, depending on site complexity and customizations.
“When you get the keys, you’re stepping into a home that’s exactly as envisioned—crafted with precision, no corners cut,” says Diamont.
That balance of rigor, transparency and flexibility is central to Minima’s appeal. Every Minima home is designed to be bespoke, yet carries the brand’s signature restraint and cohesion.
“At Minima, our homes are as customizable as you want them to be,” Diamont explains.“You bring your goals, your vision, your must-haves—whether it’s an open-concept layout for epic family gatherings, a chef’s kitchen that’s as functional as it is sleek, or a primary suite with a spa-inspired bath—and we take it from there. From the initial concept sketches to the final 3D models, we give you the flexibility to shape every detail, ensuring the home feels personal without losing that soulful, curated aesthetic we’re known for.”
Raising the Bar
Rosa Blanca is the first in what promises to be a series of Minima custom homes redefining the Valley’s luxury market: bold yet understated, international in scope yet grounded in the Sonoran Desert’s unique natural beauty.
“Rosa Blanca isn’t just a house,” says Diamont. “It’s our declaration that homes can be art, crafted with intention and built to inspire.”
