COURSE to Send Off Its “Princess Bride” Cocktail Menu with One-Night-Only Bash

As winter fades, COURSE is giving its Princess Bride-inspired cocktail menu the kind of sendoff it deserves: dramatic, cheeky and gone before you can say “inconceivable.”

On March 29, the Scottsdale hotspot will host its latest BATCH BURNING event, a one-night-only celebration of Mixologist Justin Chard’s cocktail program before the debut of a fresh spring lineup. For the evening, the bar steps into the spotlight as Chard pours the final rounds of his fan-favorite creations, a collection that blends smoke, baking spice, citrus and rich, layered flavors into cocktails.

The Princess Bride menu has earned a following for its balance of technical precision and playful storytelling, with each drink channeling the spirit of the film while showcasing a chef-driven approach to mixology. From bold flavor combinations to imaginative presentations, it’s a lineup that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still delivers on complexity.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m., welcoming guests for a relaxed, industry-style evening designed for sipping, socializing and getting a last taste of the current menu before it disappears. No reservations are required, and entry is free, with cocktails priced at $12 each and available on a first come, first served basis.

Featured drinks include “Have Fun Storming the Castle,” “I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means” and “The Brute Squad,” each crafted to reflect the bold, cinematic personality woven throughout the collection. Beyond the drinks themselves, BATCH BURNING offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of Scottsdale’s more technique-driven cocktail programs. Learn more at courserestaurantaz.com.
