Bitter & Twisted Launches Exclusive “Bartender’s Table” Cocktail Series

Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour, downtown Phoenix’s original craft cocktail destination, is shaking things up with the launch of its new “Bartender’s Table” series: a bi-monthly class designed for both curious beginners and seasoned drink aficionados. Set to debut on July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., the series will be led by award-winning proprietor Ross Simon and Head Bartender Sam Babalola.

This hands-on experience gives attendees a front-row seat to learn the techniques and stories behind world-class cocktails. Guests will be guided through the process of measuring, mixing, shaking, stirring, garnishing, and perfecting the presentation of drinks.

It’s designed to be interactive and educational, offering everything from foundational bartending skills to deeper knowledge of spirit profiles and cocktail craftsmanship while guests gain their own insight into the spirits used and the history of the recipes being taught.

“We didn’t want to offer the same million-times-done cocktail class focusing on classics. Instead, we aimed for a distinct, ‘bitter & twisted’ experience,” Simon said. “We want to give attendees a peek behind the proverbial curtain, sharing the inspiration and history behind some of the most popular drinks we serve.”

Participants will learn how to make three of Bitter & Twisted’s most requested cocktails, each crafted with either Patron Tequila, Grey Goose Vodka or Angel’s Envy Bourbon. Attendees will leave with the recipes in hand, ready to impress friends and family at their next gathering.

Each guest will receive a gift bag and enjoy 20 percent off additional food and cocktails that night, making it the perfect way to turn a class into a full evening of flavor and fun. To top it off, the participant who best demonstrates their bartending prowess will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the bar.

With only 14 spots available per class, the “Bartender’s Table” promises an immersive experience unlike any other in the Phoenix cocktail scene. Early registration is encouraged.
