Alcohol and sweets are kinda meant to be together, like peanut butter and jelly or pancakes and syrup. I, for one, love a good chocolate stout float–popping a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a frosty mug of sweet chocolate stout. Now, SnöBar has unveiled a line of alcohol-infused ice cream and ice pops, which is now available in Arizona.
SnöBar products are made with natural ingredients and its ice pops are available in two delectable flavors: Margarita and Cosmopolitan, each designed to replicate the taste of the famed cocktails. The Margarita ice pop is made with premium tequila, lime and triple sec; the Cosmopolitan ice-pop is made with premium vodka, triple sec and cranberry. SnöBar ice cream is available in the following flavors: Grasshopper, Pink Squirrel, Brandy Alexander and Brandy Alexander with Chocolate Chips. With a pure alcohol content range of 3.59 to 6.41 percent (8.22 to 14.67 alc/vol), each serving of SnöBar ice-pops and ice cream has the equivalent alcohol percentage of a full cocktail. Both frozen SnöBar desserts are available at most Total Wine locations and at select clubs, restaurants, country clubs and bars throughout Arizona. SnöBar is currently distributed in Arizona by Alliance Beverage Distribution Company; the brand has an aggressive nationwide roll-out plan for 2012.
“The demand for SnöBar has been overwhelming,” says SnöBar President Eddie Masjedi. “Previously, consumers’ only choices were alcohol flavored ice cream, with little to no alcohol content, or to mix their favorite spirits and desserts, with disappointing results. We worked on and perfected our formula for over two years to guarantee a superior product and ensure that every bite tastes incredibly delicious.”
And, of course, SnöBar products are intended for only customers who are 21 years old and older, so consume responsibly. www.snobarcocktails.com.
