I was born…

to European immigrants and raised in Orange County, California.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

is being able to be outside all year round and not having to battle Southern California traffic.

I’m listening to…

Thievery Corporation, Sia, The XX, Moby, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Groove Armada,  a little hip hop and lots of random “chill” music

My family…

is my rock.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Steve Jobs, so that he could come back to life and keep being the innovator and visionary he was. If not, Hillary Clinton would have some interesting stories to tell, I am sure.

One thing I cannot live without…

love and my iPhone (ok, if I really have to pick one, I’ll give up my iPhone because if Steve Jobs comes back to life he’ll probably introduce that full fledged electronic iPersonal Assistant I need soon anyway).

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

international relations attorney or a psychologist.

I’m inspired by…

people who are so passionate about a cause, that they make personal sacrifices to help others.

The one person who motivates me is…

I am very self motivated, but my children also motivate me.

The perfect day would be…

being with people I love, somewhere beautiful, preferably near the ocean, eating delicious food and ending the day with a romantic evening

My first job was…

(besides babysitting) as a hostess. I had to fudge a few months on my age to get the hostess job– around 15. I worked there for 6 years (after coming clean on the age thing).

My favorite escape…

is finding something to enjoy in the moment, listening to music, the beach

My life…

is an adventure full of many great things and some big challenges too

I’m currently working on…

acceptance (those pesky challenges again).

Always…

appreciate what you have.

Never…

stop learning and trying to better yourself.

Favorite Quote…

“The secret to happiness is not getting more, it is wanting less.”

Biggest Dream…

for my children to live healthy, happy, long, lives , to have meaningful connections with them and others, and to be able to positively contribute to the world in some meaningful way.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people throwing cigarettes out of their car windows…the world is not your ashtray!
