Ever wanted to taste the mouth-watering meals they dish up on Bravo’s hit reality show – Top Chef? Well here is your chance! On Dec. 17, recent winner and Scottsdale Culinary Institute alum, Stephanie Izard will prepare an exquisite 8-course meal at the booming Digestif restaurant in Scottsdale.
With help from Digestif’s chefs, Payton Curry and pastry chef Tracy Dempsey Izard’s meal is slated to be exotic, with such meat selections as duck, scallops, pork and lamb. Sommelier Sariya Jarasviroj Brown of importer Vin Divino will pair stunning Austrian wines (and a few fun surprises) with each dish.
Digestif opened this year and serves up seasonal ingredients, hand-cut meats and local produce. The unique menu style is great for either having a long luxurious dinner or a quick sald and glass of wine. Digestif is also known for having the rare Absinthe on the menu. Craving an afternoon or late-night snack? Nibble on cheeses, pâté, fish & chips, the PLT with house-cured pancetta, smoked salmon salad. For dessert, Digestif serves classic technique and time-honored flavors (chocolate, almond, lemon, apricot, mint, cherries, polenta and pine nuts, to name a few), presenting Italian desserts, which may hint at usual suspects like cannoli and tiramisú, yet are anything but predictable.
