Every babe uniform starts with a solid foundation of cute undergarments. The problem is cute doesn’t always mean comfort so we’re left either suffering in ill-fitting intimates or hiding in hideous granny panties. Enter Real Underwear, an up and coming lingerie brand based out of New York specializing in subtlety sexy pieces without sacrificing comfort and fit. Real recently sent us a few items to try out for our real opinion…so, let’s get real babes!
The first item we received was the Core Essentials Wire Free Bodysuit in black. While a bodysuit isn’t necessarily a staple piece in our underwear drawer it’s perf for more coverage under a sheer blouse or to spice up a boyfriend button down. The smooth shaped foam cup would even give us the confidence to rock it solo with some saucy high-waist slacks. This is a truly beautiful piece with details like monofilament elastic trim and rose gold hardware.
Our next try on consisted of the Core Essentials Plunge Underwire Bra and Core Essentials Thong both in a red-hot color appropriately coined “Boiling”. We were a bit concerned about this set upon first impression since the bra seemed to be lacking support and thongs aren’t always the most comfy. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the pair. Security was not an issue with the bra and the thong was so comfortable we almost forgot we were wearing it.
Our final set was the Core Essentials Wire Free Bra and Core Essentials Hipster Panty in Huntress. The first thing we noticed about this set was the gorgeous green color, definitely our favorite of the three. The cup on this bra looked a lot larger than our chest size when taking it out of the box but actually ended up fitting perfectly. We will be wearing this set on the reg for sure.
Real Underwear checked all of our skivvy requirements: sexy, comfy, luxurious, fitted, well made. Oh, and did we mention affordable AF? Seriously, panties for just $10 and bras at $20 – $25…yes please! One of our fave things about the brand is their message though:
