Regent Street, London W1 becomes a playground of style for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, 8 September 2011

Regent Street, London W1 is excited to participate in Fashion’s Night Out tonight, September 8, 2011. There will be fun shopping events and special deals for everyone who comes in to spend some cash!

Regent Street retailers are getting ready for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, 8 September 2011.  A night when they will, together with other retailers, restaurants and bars from major international cities embrace late night shopping, culinary experiences and entertainment.

Over 40 of the Regent Street retailers, bars and restaurants, are taking part in the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out this year and most of the shops will remain open until 11pm offering customers a relaxed evening to enjoy the new collections from many of the Regent Street brands.

Shoppers can subscribe to the Regent Street consumer website, regentstreetonline.com and together with fashions-night-out.vogue.co.uk/ design their shopping itinerary for the night.

Participating flagship brands include Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Jaeger, Armani Exchange, Penhaligon’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Kirk Originals, Omega, Ferrari, Calvin Klein, Karen Millen, COS, French Connection, Mango, The Organic Pharmacy and Oliver Sweeney.

Restaurants such us Sketch in Conduit Street and The Living Room and Aubaine in Heddon Street, will embrace Vogue Fashion’s Night Out offering special promotions to their customers.

Armani Exchange will play host to a DJ session, while US brand Anthropologie will offer a 20% discount on all full-priced fashion and accessories. Molton Brown is using Fashion’s Night Out to launch its newly refurbished Regent Street store. Penhaligon’s will be holding a 1920’s inspired evening to launch its new fragrance, Juniper Sling, inspired by London Gin, and The Organic Pharmacy will indulge shoppers with a complimentary mini-manicure when purchasing the Gold or Silver Vogue approved shades.

Vogue Fashion’s Night Out 2011 will kick off on 6 September in Russia. Spain follows on the 7 while Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, UK, Brazil (São Paulo) and USA are all choosing 8 September for their events. Brazil will hold a further event on 9 September in Rio de Janeiro. Taiwan and India will join in on 10 September, with China on the 11, culminating in Greece and Turkey on 15 September.

Liberty: Liberty is delighted to be working with the fashion commentator Lulu Kennedy for AW 2011 with her Lulu + Co full collection launching in-store for Fashion’s Night Out. The Lulu + Co designers will be on hand to style customers in their Lulu + Co and eponymous collections while Lulu and the rest of her team hand out flower leis and cocktails and DJ Sloanie spins music straight out of Elvis’ Blue Hawaii.

‘Necks Generation’: The Liberty scarf hall styling team will be demonstrating the myriad of ways scarves can be worn and how to interpret them into your style repertoire on the ground floor.

‘Drink and be merry’: Shopping up a storm is thirsty work so customers can indulge in the Mahiki coconut rum satellite cocktail bars on the 1st and 2nd floors.  Exclusively for Liberty shoppers Mahiki coconut has created a special Rum Shack for HonoLULU Lounge where cocktails will be served in hollowed out coconuts.
