Kierland Commons Earns National Recognition as New Retailers Join the Lineup

Kierland Commons is celebrating national recognition and continued growth after being named one of the top shopping centers in the country by USA Today.

The Scottsdale lifestyle destination was ranked No. 9 in the Best Shopping Center category of the USA Today 10BEST 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards, moving up one spot from its No. 10 ranking in 2025. The recognition places Kierland Commons among the nation’s most highly regarded retail destinations and highlights its ongoing appeal to shoppers, diners and visitors.

“This recognition reflects the dedication and passion our team brings to Kierland Commons every single day,” General Manager Victoria Buscher said. “To be recognized among the best shopping centers in the country for the second consecutive year — and to move up in the rankings — is a testament to our guests, our retail partners and the unique experience we’ve built together.”

The annual USA Today 10BEST awards begin with nominations selected by a panel of experts and editors, who narrow the field to 20 finalists before opening voting to the public. Shopping centers are evaluated based on factors including retail selection, dining and entertainment offerings, accessibility and the experiences that distinguish them from other destinations.

Since opening, Kierland Commons has helped define the lifestyle center concept in Arizona by combining shopping, dining, office space and residential living within a walkable, open-air environment. Its Main Street-inspired design has made it a popular gathering place for residents and visitors seeking a mix of retail, restaurants and community events.

Today, the center is home to a diverse collection of brands and dining destinations, including Arhaus, Vuori, Mastro’s Ocean Club and Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar and Store. That lineup continues to expand as several new retailers prepare to open their doors.

Earlier this month, Warby Parker and Kiehl’s joined the center, while Evereve unveiled a newly redesigned store following a relocation within the property. Additional openings are scheduled throughout the summer, beginning with Relevant Galleries on July 1. The gallery will showcase fine art photography and add another creative element to the center’s retail mix.

Later in July, luxury handbag brand Hammitt will make its debut, bringing its collection of premium leather handbags and accessories to shoppers. Furniture retailer 7th Avenue, known for its customizable modular sofas, will open its first Arizona location at the center in the fall. Beyond Yoga will also arrive, expanding the center’s growing collection of lifestyle and wellness-focused retailers.

“We’re thrilled by the momentum we’re seeing,” Buscher said. “Each new retailer and refreshed space brings added energy to the center and gives our guests even more reasons to visit. We look forward to continuing to evolve our lineup to meet the needs of our community.”

Beyond shopping and dining, Kierland Commons has also become a destination for arts and cultural events. The center hosts the Kierland Fine Art & Wine Festival twice each year, attracting artists, collectors and visitors from across the region. The event has grown steadily over the years and is increasingly recognized as one of Arizona’s premier fine art festivals. Learn more at Kierland Commons | Home.
