Restoration Hardware to replace Oakville Grocery space at Scottsdale Quarter

Despite original whispers about an American Girl store, it is confirmed that Scottsdale Quarter owner Glimcher Realty Trust is building a new store for Restoration Hardware, which currently is located in Kierland Commons across the street.

It will take the place of the former, short-lived Oakville Grocery. Having opened in December 2009 in the midst of the Recession, the premier grocer then relocated to downtown Phoenix’s burgeoning CityScape to only shut its doors for the second time.

Details yet to follow, though sources say it will be a new three-story concept, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

The 28-acre shopping, dining and entertainment complex is introducing eight new tenants to look forward to, including: Bath & Body Works, Carole’s Couture, Calvin Klein Performance, L’OCCITANE, Make Meaning, Restoration Hardware, Sephora and SOL Mexican Cocina. Calvin Klein Performance and Sephora opened their doors earlier this year, while the remaining additions will join them this spring and throughout the year.

Restoration Hadware is recognized as luxury home furnishing brand, offering timeless, updated classics in furniture, lighting, textiles, bathware, decor, outdoor and garden.

Restoration Hardware’s free-standing building will be located on the northeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Butherus Road.
