After decades of building companies, advising leaders, investing in businesses and navigating one of the country’s most highly regulated industries, Phoenix entrepreneur and CEO Sara Gullickson is putting her experience into a new educational platform for women.
The Strategic Woman Method is designed to help women make smarter decisions in business, leadership and life, providing practical tools and frameworks that can be applied to everything from negotiating a salary to building a company or making a difficult personal decision.
The platform launches with the first three workbooks in an ongoing educational series: Nice Is Expensive, 10 Operating Procedures for Running a Meeting and Where Do I Start? Together, they introduce the foundational principles of The Strategic Woman Method, drawing on Gullickson’s decades of company building and executive leadership.
Having helped launch or found more than 100 companies throughout her career, Gullickson created the platform after recognizing that many of the decision-making frameworks used by successful founders and executives could also help women navigate decisions they encounter throughout their careers and lives.As more women move into executive leadership, entrepreneurship, investing and boardroom roles, Gullickson believes practical decision-making frameworks are becoming just as valuable as technical expertise.
“Women don’t need another motivational quote,” she said. “They need practical frameworks they can use the next time they negotiate a salary, build a company, walk into a boardroom, or make a difficult decision. The Strategic Woman Method isn’t about teaching women how to work harder. It’s about teaching them how to think more strategically.”
The method focuses on execution, preparation, negotiation, strategic thinking and practical decision-making. While the concepts were developed through decades of business leadership, the frameworks are intended to help women approach both professional and personal choices with greater intention.
