Ryan House is inviting the community to lace up for a morning of purpose at its 16th anniversary Run for Ryan House on November 8 at Riverview Park in Mesa. The annual event brings together runners, walkers, families, teams and supporters to celebrate the children and families served by Ryan House while raising funds to support its mission.

Participants can choose from a 10K, 5K or Family Fun Run, with virtual participation also available for those who cannot attend in person. For families and loved ones connected to Ryan House, the event carries a special significance. Participants can create teams in honor or memory, bringing friends and family together to celebrate their lives and journeys.

Every stride and dollar raised supports Ryan House’s work to enrich the quality of life and create cherished memories for children and their families while providing a much-needed break from 24/7 caregiving as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys.

The morning welcomes the whole family, with runners, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, dogs and teams all encouraged to participate. In addition to the races, the event will feature food trucks, vendor booths, family activities, games and opportunities to connect with fellow supporters. Participants can also create personal fundraising pages to invite friends and family to support.

The event begins with check-in at 7 a.m. The 10K starts at 8 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:10 a.m. and Family Fun Run at 8:20 a.m. An awards ceremony will take place at 9:15 a.m., with the expo, games and additional activities beginning at 9:30 a.m. Learn more at ryanhouse.org.
