Recipes: New Years Cocktails with Chandon

A New Year toast isn’t complete without bubbly! Ring in 2014 with these creative cocktail concoctions from Chandon.

 

Chandon spiced apple punch

 

Chandon Spiced Apple Punch

2 oz spiced simple syrup (1 cup water; 1 cup granulated sugar; 2 cinnamon sticks; 1 small piece nutmeg)
2 1/2 cups apple cider (unsweetened)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
2 oz honey
750ml (1 bottle) Chandon Brut Classic

 
Make the simple syrup: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit 30 minutes. Strain the syrup into a clean container and refrigerate. Discard the cinnamon and nutmeg. Combine the apple cider, lemon juice, honey and spiced simple syrup a pitcher, dispenser or punch
bowl. Add the Brut and fill with ice. Serve.

 

Chandon cran punch

 

Chandon Cranberry Punch
12-oz packages fresh cranberries
6 oz Lime Simple Syrup (1 cup water; 1 cup granulated sugar; zest and juice of 2 limes)
1/2 cup unsweetened cranberry juice
1/2 teaspoon Orange Blossom Water
750ml (1 bottle) Chandon Rose

 
Freeze the cranberries. Make the simple syrup: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit 30 minutes. Strain the syrup into a clean container and refrigerate. Discard the lime zest. Combine the simple syrup, cranberry juice and Orange Blossom Water in a pitcher, dispenser or punch bowl. Add the Rose and the frozen cranberries. Serve.

 

Chandon grapefruit

 

Chandon Grapefruit Snap
4 oz Ginger Simple Syrup (1 cup water; 1 cup granulated sugar; 1/2 cup chopped fresh ginger)
1 cup grapefruit juice
750ml (1 bottle) Chandon Extra-Dry Riche

 
Make the simple syrup: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit 30 minutes. Strain the syrup into a clean container and refrigerate. Discard ginger pieces. Combine the simple syrup, grapefruit juice and bitters in in a pitcher, dispenser or punch bowl. Add the Riche and fill with ice. Serve.
