Süss Pastries is elevating the classics this season with two decadent pies available for pre-order until No. 17. The first is an apple pie crumble made with a flaky buttery pie crust that is filled with fall-spiced granny smith apples and topped with a mesquite streusel. The second, a pumpkin cream pie, is sure to make a statement at the table with a lightly browned butter graham crust that is layered with cranberry jam, pumpkin cream cheese mousse and topped with toasted marshmallow fluff. The local artisan ice cream shop is taking Thanksgiving to a whole new level with ice cream-filled pies available for pre-order in three seasonal flavors. Each nine-inch pie serves 6–8 people and features a honey waffle crust that is filled with 24 oz. of ice cream and then topped with whipped cream.
Choose from a decadent Apple Pie featuring Granny Smith apples roasted in butter and brown sugar, a cinnamon and apple brandy sweet cream and chunks of pie crust folded into the ice cream; a Maple Pecan Pie featuring maple-infused ice cream with Arizona-grown pecans; and a Pumpkin Spice Pie featuring classic slow-cooked pumpkin with a festive blend of six spices blended into the ice cream.
