Where to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Phoenix 2022

Cinco de Mayo calls for good food, good company and lots of celebrating. We’ve found the best spots across Phoenix and Scottsdale for you and your family to celebrate the “fiesta way” this holiday.

Diego Pops

Located in Old Town Scottsdale, Diego Pops creates a Yucatan-inspired experience for its guests with its extended outdoor patio and colorful decor. The restaurant features an extensive, customizable menu, and award-winning margaritas that you can enjoy there or to go. Take advantage of the $6 margarita special during Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Otherwise come anytime between 11 a.m. and 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Diego Pops is not taking reservations at this time.

Heritage at Sportsman’s Park

The community Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Heritage is Thursday, May 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Though admission is free for all guests, attendees must RSVP for the event. Enjoy $2 tacos, $3 margaritas, games and live music with the Cardinals Stadium in view. Click here for more information and to RSVP.

Los Sombreros

Join Los Sombreros at their Phoenix or Scottsdale location for their Cinco de Mayo fiesta on May 5. The party includes a live DJ and an outdoor taco bar with Cinco de Mayo specials guests can enjoy. The taco bar specials include $5 margaritas, $5 Mexican beer, and $5 tacos with meat choices of Al Pastor, Ribeye, Carnitas, and Chicken. You can sign up to be a Los Amigos member to learn more about the Cinco de Mayo fiesta and to earn rewards when you dine with Los Sombreros in the future. No reservations are required to participate in the Cinco de Mayo fiesta.

Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill

Cinco de Mayo falls in the same month as Salt and Lime’s eighth anniversary, so this restaurant is going all out for its celebration on May 5. An archway lined with colorful piñatas will welcome guests inside the Scottsdale restaurant’s head-to-toe Cinco de Mayo transformation. You can also expect live music and even a Selena impersonator. There will be additional outdoor seating and tented bars to accommodate all guests. Salt and Lime offers “modern” interpretations of authentic Mexican food and signature margaritas. Happy hour is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday.
