North Scottsdale’s SASSI will be hosting a three-course spaghetti dinner on Tuesday, July 23 to honor and aid the Yarnell Firefighters, with 100 percent of the sales going to help the families of the fallen Hotshots. There is a fixed price of $25 per person that does not include alcoholic beverages, sales tax, or a service charge of 20 percent. Reservations accepted from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the evening. On Friday, July 19, Kitchen 56 in Arcadia will be hosting a special dinner to raise money for the families of the victims of the men who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire. The dinner includes choice of an appetizer and main course and is available for $30 (plus tax and gratuity). Drink tickets are also available for $10 (plus tax and gratuity). The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix has announced four-course A Summer Wine Dinner for Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. with the Bistro 24 dining experience to be complemented by the Sonoma, California wines of Rodney Strong Vineyards. The dinner is priced at $65 per guest exclusive of tax and gratuity. Early reservations are recommended by calling 602.952.2424.
Bryan’s Black Mountain Barbecue in Cave Creek has introduced “The Chalkboard Pig” where a monthly special for the adventurous eater will be displayed. This month, diners can enjoy root beer-braised pig ears and fried green tomato sandwich topped with pickled sunchoke slaw.
Market Street Kitchen in North Scottsdale has rolled out a Sunday Brunch. Handcrafted by Executive Chef Matt Taylor, MSK’s brunch takes traditional American classics and gives them “a spicy-sweet, cornmeal-dusted Southern twist.” Guests can also enjoy $12 bottomless Bloody Marys or mimosas.
If you spend $20 or more at Madison’s Improvement Club’s s.e.e.d. Café (pictured) (menu features healthy fare which includes burritos, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and more) and they will pack it up and deliver it right to your door. (Delivery area is limited to 24th to 44th Street and between Indian School Road to Camelback Road.) As an added bonus, now guests can order bottles of s.e.e.d.’s famed fresh-juiced fruit and vegetable drinks for just $10 (or $9 each when you order three or more).
