Fat Ox in Scottsdale will be participating in Negroni Week this June 5 to 9 to raise funds for a great charity. Simply order Fat Ox’s version of the classic Italian Negroni cocktail, and the restaurant will donate $1 of every cocktail sold to No Kid Hungry, a national nonprofit working to solve problems of hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world.
June 10 is National Iced Tea Day and to celebrate the local coffee-inspired tea company, Teaspressa, is offering 10 percent off any Iced Signature Drink purchased at its Arcadia cafe. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is inviting the Phoenix community to join them in the fight against childhood cancer by visiting their local Firebirds restaurant June 8-10 for a glass of refreshing, house-made lemonade. In partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and its annual Lemonade Days fundraiser, Firebirds will be selling lemonade for $3 per cup at stands outside its doors June 8 and June 9, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, June 10, 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. All proceeds will go to ALSF. In addition, Firebirds will donate $1 for each slice of Big Daddy Lemon Cake sold at all Firebirds restaurants.
Barro’s Pizza and Pepsi are giving back during the Summer of Giving. The locally-owned pizza operation, in partnership with Pepsi, is donating money to help Arizona families and children affected by pediatric cancer. In June, Barro’s will donate proceeds from all lunch specials to the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children (ACFC), a local nonprofit with a mission to help Arizona families with the high costs and challenging logistics while caring for their children during cancer treatment. During July, Barro’s Pizza will match all donations to the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children up to $20,000. Donations can be made here.

Beckett’s Table invites guests to sip their way into the summer season with their most beloved pinks in honor of National Rosé Week. From Tuesday, June 5, to Sunday, June 10, Beckett’s Table will celebrate the summer staple with notable rosés hand selected by sommeliers, Scott and Katie Stephens. The special menu will offer rosé flights, as well as rosé by the glass and bottle. Beckett’s Table will offer one rosé flight including three 2-oz. tastings for $14 per person; guests can choose from a selection of six offerings.
As of June 1, Humble Pie – Pizza, Wine and Spirits is now open in Downtown Ocotillo. The popular pizza place will be located between The Living Room wine café & lounge and Rock Lobster. The new Humble Pie in Chandler will be open daily, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests may dine in or take-out. The award-winning fine dining destination, J&G Steakhouse at The Phoenician, is taking a “summer break” as it prepares for its 10-year anniversary later this fall. Starting this week, J&G began work on a stylish refresh, including new flooring and furnishings, updated décor and color schemes, enhanced seating on the outdoor dining patio and a modernized kitchen. The restaurant is scheduled to debut its new design, along with fresh new seasonal food and drink menus highlighting the flavors of fall, in early September 2018.
Beginning Friday, June 1, to Labor Day, Monday, September 3, the much anticipated, All Night, All Summer Happy Hour returns to Scottsdale’s Roaring Fork restaurant.  Beginning at 4 p.m. Monday through Sunday, guests can receive happy hour pricing in the bar and saloon on dishes like tortilla soup, green chili pork, pork wings, fish tacos and much more.
National Rosé Day is Saturday, June 9, and the Thirsty Camel at The Phoenician has some special deals in store in honor of the occasion.
