Humble Pie Kierland and Humble Pie Peoria will once again offer its Kids Pizza Camp this summer. Kids Pizza Camp kicks off at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, and the one-hour morning pizza-making session repeats Saturday, June 6, Tuesday, June 9 and Saturday, June 13. July dates will be determined soon. Participants ages 6 to 12 will learn the art of pizza-making from throwing dough to making mozzarella, and each child will earn a complimentary kids meal to take advantage of during his or her next visit to Humble Pie. Call each restaurant to reserve your spot.
Mexx32, which is new to the Biltmore Plaza, is hosting a grand opening celebration on May 30 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. that will include mariachis, margaritas and much more. Mexx32’s menu features street tacos, burritos, rice bowls and refreshing margaritas. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit KidsRead USA, an Arizona charity.
It’s Dinner and a Movie every Monday from now through the end of August at Thirsty Lion. For $20, you get a pizza, two soft drinks and two Harkins Theater movie tickets. Also starting now is Thirsty Lion’s Beat the Heat promotion, where you can cool down with half priced Moscow Mules and House Margaritas when the outside temperature is at or above 105 degrees. These summer promotions are valid at both Thirsty Lion locations in Tempe and Scottsdale.
