Summer Lovin’: Seasonal Dining Deals for Date Night

Make this a summer of love–and a summer of savings–with these fabulous seasonal deals that will leave no excuse not to head out for a night on the town.

Sauce Pizza and Wine’s adored Summer Sampler (pictured) is now available through August 31 at all Sauce locations. Grab your sweetheart and share one of Sauce’s salads, a 12-in. pizza of your choice and two glasses of wine or beer for just $22. Our picks? The the seasonal watermelon and arugula salad (pictured), which is totally refreshing and light and perfect with rosé, or the summery vegetable salad with organic spring mix, carrots, asparagus, cucumbers, corn, tomatoes, avocado, zucchini, parmesan and red wine vinaigrette paired with pepperoni and crimini mushroom pizza. 

Chef Samantha Sanz of Talavera at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North has created Summer in Seville, a new prix fixe menu for two that offers the best of seasonal dining at a special value ($98 per couple). Guests can begin their evening with a porrón of sangria or a bottle of txakolina, a light effervescent Spanish wine ideal for summer enjoyment.  The meal continues with a tapas dish to share, a verdura (vegetable dish), and Chef Sanz’ summer version of her signature paella. For even more of a treat, Talavera features the live music of a flamenco guitarist each Thursday evening. The Summer in Seville menu is available through Sept. 1. 

Lincoln, a JW Steakhouse, at JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, is featuring its Summer Sizzler three-course dinner special between now and Sept. 1. For only $39 (not including tax or gratuity), guests will savor a choice between three entrees, five flavorful side dishes and, for a sweet finale, a choice between the German chocolate cake or the out-of-this-world JW signature cheesecake.

True Food Kitchen at Biltmore Fashion Park has launched a summer social hour with $5 bites and sips every Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m., available through Labor Day. Dig into herb hummus, seared chicken satay (two), chicken tacos, a spicy margarita and more. Other happy hour specials include a $15 carafe of Farmers Market sangria and a $20 margherita pizza and bottle of wine option.

Blanco Tacos + Tequila hosts Margarita Monday and Taco Tuesday every week until August 31. To ease into the work week, guests can relax and refresh for Margarita Monday with $5 classic margaritas offered all day until 6 p.m. On Tuesdays, Blanco is celebrating Taco Tuesday with $3.50 happy hour tacos all day until 6.p.m.

Every Wednesday, now through August, The Henry guests can stop by its Arcadia location for an extended happy hour, offered from 3 to 10 p.m. Plus: enjoy live music in the lounge area starting at 7 p.m. Summer happy hour sips include $6 hand-crafted cocktails, $4 draught beer and $6 carefully selected glasses of wine, along with food options like Korean short rib tacos for $6, and more. 

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, LON’s Last Drop celebrates summer with happy hour from 4 p.m. to close, with reduced pricing on Arizona craft canned beer, featured Azuñia cocktails, wines on tap and draught cocktails, plus half-priced bar snacks.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Gilbert, enjoy Truly-infused cocktails and Babe Rose wine in addition to ongoing weekly happy hour specials on food and other drinks. There will even be live acoustic music, 102.5 KNIX live remotes, giveaways, games and more. Plus: happy hour is extended from open to 7 p.m. every day Monday through Friday for summer. Did your babysitter bail? From open to close on Mondays, kids 12 and under will receive a complimentary kids entrée with the purchase of an adult entrée. One kid per adult.  

Tuesday at Fired Pie is Pizza & Beer night, where guests can enjoy half-priced beer from 4 to 9 p.m. On Wednesdays, celebrate Wine Down Wednesdays at Fired Pie through buying any two entrees and two glasses of wine for just $25 from 4 p.m. to close. Guests may add a Party Pookie for just $5.

VooDoo Daddy’s Steam Kitchen is offering up its Red Beans and Rice, plus a beer of your choice, for just $8.99 on Mondays. It’s Fat Tuesday every Tuesday with $3 Abita Purple Haze draught beer. Plus, order a Jambalaya with your choice of tea or soda for just $8.99 on Tuesdays. Celebrate the middle of the week every Wednesday with $3 Porch wine and an order of shrimp and grits with a tea or soda for just $9.49. And celebrate jazz season every Saturday night with live music from to 9 p.m. through August.

MODERN OYSTERBAR CHOPHOUSE is rolling out its summer prix fixe menu. Now through Sept. 1, enjoy three courses for just $49 per person with options like center-cut filet, Alaskan halibut, key lime pie and more.
