In support of #RedforEd, the following Valley restaurants are offering can’t-miss discounts, freebies and more starting on April 26.
Giant Coffee: Wear red and get one free drip coffee on your visit. Redeemable all day on April 26.
Gallo Blanco: Wear red and get 20 percent off your meal. Redeemable all day on April 26.
Taco Chelo: Wear red and get 20 percent off your meal. Redeemable all day on April 26.
Phoenix Public Market Café: Wear red and get 20 percent off your meal. Redeemable all day on April 26.
Chompie’s: Anyone who comes to Chompie’s wearing red on April 26 and April 27 will receive a special, limited-time red and white cookie for free. In addition to the free cookies, educators who bring their school identification on April 26 and April 27 will be given the same 20 percent discount that military, first responders and veterans receive for any additional items ordered.
The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen: All school teachers and staff will receive 25 percent off their total bill during the walkout, by showing their school ID badge. (Not good in combination with other offers.) Children 12 and under will receive a Half Pint meal for only 99 cents with the purchase of an adult entrée from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on days school is canceled during the walkout. (Limit two Half Pint meals per adult entrée.)
Plus, The Art of Ice Cream Experience is giving complimentary admission to teachers during the #RedforEd walkout, and families who use promo code RedforEd receive $5 off admission to the pop-up exhibit. The discount will be available as long as the walkout carries on. The Art of Ice Cream is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
