Krispy Kreme x Biscoff Launch 3 New Cookie-Inspired Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme has launched its first flavor collaboration of the year with three custom doughnuts inspired by the classic caramelized Biscoff cookie.

The three doughnut flavors were carefully curated to reflect both iconic brands. The Krispy Kreme Biscoff doughnuts include the Biscoff iced doughnut, the Biscoff cookie butter cheesecake doughnut and the Biscoff cookie buttercream-filled doughnut.

The Biscoff iced doughnut is an original glazed doughnut dipped in a layer of cookie butter icing. The Biscoff cookie butter cheesecake doughnut is also an original glazed doughnut dipped in cookie butter icing with a swirl of rich cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with cookie crumbles. The Biscoff cookie buttercream-filled doughnut is a shell doughnut filled with cookie butter filling dipped in cookie butter icing and swirled with dark chocolate icing with dusted cookie crumbles.

Biscoff gained a cult-like following when airlines started servicing the crunchy cookie as an in-flight treat in the mid-1980s. This type of collaboration is not new for Krispy Kreme as the doughnut company is known for transforming nostalgic sweet treats into limited-edition doughnuts. In the past, Krispy Kreme created donuts honoring nostalgic brands, such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s, Oreo and Twix.

“Our doughnuts made with Lotus Biscoff are popular around the world and it’s time for our U.S. fans to get a taste,” says Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme. “Both doughnut and cookie lovers will be amazed by this delicious combination.”

Until the end of January, the three Biscoff-inspired donuts are sold at participating Krispy Kreme shops and nearby grocery stores across the U.S. To view participating Krispy Kreme locations in Arizona, click here. While supplies last, customers who purchase any of the three doughnuts will receive a complimentary packet of Biscoff cookies.
