Carcara is celebrating the season with a refreshed menu featuring bright flavors, locally inspired ingredients and creative Southwestern dishes. Located at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, the restaurant’s latest offerings combine seasonal produce with unexpected flavors combinations.
Guests can begin with the Crujiente Crab Tacos, made with blue corn shells, crab escabeche, lime crema and jicama, or the Kabocha Hummus, served with cucumbers, heirloom carrots, radishes, golden raisins, pepitas and grilled date-walnut loaf.
For a heartier option, the Berkshire Baby Backs feature ancho-tamarind ribs accompanied by house-made cornbread and a citrus, kohlrabi and cucumber salad. The Fork Tender Short Rib is paired with citrus-and-smoke carrot puree, shishito peppers, charred citrus jus and chayote squash.
Those looking for something lighter can try the Sunshine Hydration Salad, a combination of melon, jicama, cucumber, mint, cilantro, peppercorn feta, ruby radishes, sunflower seeds and a citrus vinaigrette.
Guests can also experience the seasonal menu through Carcara’s Summer Supper Club, available now through September 30. The three-course prix fixe dinner is priced at $59 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and includes a choice of starter, entree and dessert, along with a glass of wine and complimentary parking.
Menu highlights include the award-winning Curried Corn Bisque, Fork-Tender Short Ribs, Za’atar Salmon, Honey Fried Chicken, Strawberry Ice Box Cake and Mojito Tres Leches.
Carcara will continue to celebrate Arizona’s culinary heritage with an intimate Chef Series Dinner on August 15, featuring Indigenous-inspired dishes influenced by the ingredients and traditions of the Sonoran Desert.
